Part 1: Part 1::: Use the prompts below to reflect on your history as a reader.
1. Books I loved as a child:
I loved Mr. Crow's bakery when I was in kindergarten. So many kinds of bread are drawn. I always asked my father to read the book, but he seemed to be tired because it was hard to call all breads in the book. When I was able to read, I tried by myself. I loved Anne of Green Gables when I was in elementary school. I wrote description of my thought about the book and I got prize. I loved Anne's character. She loves see dream. She is honest. She always try hard. I think I want to visit Green Gables someday even now I'm in university.
2. Memories I have of seeing somebody read:
At nearest library, there was event that volunteers read picture books to children. I often visited there.
3. People I remember who loved to read:
I remember that my parents like reading. My father like reading historical novel, for example, Sangokushi and Toge. These books he reads looked very difficult for me as a child. So I respected him. My mother also like reading. She loves Anne of Green Gables and Little Women. I also red these books because she recommended me.
4. People who read to me when I was little
My parents read to me. I had this reading time before I sleep in a bed.
5. Books I loved reading in school
I read and loved comics about science and history. I learned a lot by it.
6. Books I hated reading in school
I didn't like reading criticise.
7. Books I have read on my own and enjoyed
My favorite is novel. I love Little Woman, Ann of Green Gables and Pippi Langstrump.
8. Literary characters I connect to
I really love Ann by Ann of Green Gables. I was attracted by emotional story and parson. I wanted to be a girl like Ann when I was little.
9. Books that have captured my imagination
I enjoyed The Chronicles of Narnia.
10. Books and/or writers I am interested in, but haven’t yet read
I love Ann of Green Gables. I have not read whole series of it. I want to read it till end. Moreover I have read it in Japanese. I want to try read it in English.
11. Books I pretended to read or understand
I don't read a story that someone fight! I don't like conflict.
12. Other types of reading materials I read and enjoy
I enjoy Nobel with attractive characters.

When I was in elementary school, I challenged book report contest every year and I got prizes. This is my memory of books.
